Centerless Polishing

Dairytube Engineering offers Centreless grinding of Stainless Steel tubes. This type of tube polishing gives you the ability to polish Dairy and Sch pipes to different grits and finishes as per requirements.  

Centerless grinding is a machining process that uses abrasive belts to remove material from a workpiece to result in a cylindrical surface with a fine finish.  The workpiece is secured between two rotary wheels, and the speed of their rotation relative to each other determines the rate at which material is removed from the workpiece.

Centerless grinding is typically used in preference to other cylindrical grinding processes for operations where many parts must be processed in a short time. Example - street bollards, polished handrail.
